Somehow the year gets away from me every time.
It’s like I’m chasing a snowball downhill as it gathers mass and momentum.
(You know where this is leading!)
So here I am (bewildered) at the end of another year, cherishing small victories and hoping to do better next year.
If you, like me, live closer to the edge of overwhelm than you like to admit, then I hope that these free printable planner pages might help.
They aren’t fancy, but I like things that way.
There’s a week-at-a-glance planner, a monthly calendar page, and a menu-planner with space for groceries and notes.
These are simple black and white pages, so you can print them cheaply from your printer. Print a bunch, put them in a binder and you’ve got yourself a planner.
Just click on the images below and you’ll go to the full-size (8.5 x 11-inch / 22.5 x 28 cm) PDF file.
There are so many marvelous planners available these days that choosing one is in itself overwhelming. In the meantime, you’ve got these.
After all, organization is a means to an end. It’s not the end in itself. You don’t have to have the days of your life planned out in minute detail with no room for serendipity or magic or just being.
Some of us move more slowly through this world than the current speed of everything allows. Your planner is supposed to help you, not defeat you.
You don’t have to be perfect, and your planner doesn’t either. You are free to doodle. Use stickers. Miss a day and start over – as many times as you need to.
Here’s to a kind and meaningful New Year!
